Kingdom Care Reentry Network:
The mission of the Kingdom Care Reentry Network (K.C.R.N.) is to significantly reduce the rate of prison recidivism in the greater Philadelphia area. K.C.R.N. will mobilize, organize and empower the considerable, valuable resources of the Philadelphia area faith-community, which currently lie overlooked, like unearthed treasure, by an overburdened social services community. The Kingdom Care Reentry Network adapts best practices and resources of each K.C.R.N. member organization, in order to provide housing, jobs training, employment, drug counseling, mentoring, life skills training, tutoring and other services —a continuum of prison aftercare services— to ex-offenders in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Area.

Philadelphia Freedom From AIDS Campaign:
The purpose of the Philadelphia Freedom From AIDS Campaign is to inform the African American community and other minorities of the horrific HIV/AIDS crisis, which has become the leading cause of death in their communities. Its Mission is to alter the socio-political system that has placed African American people in bondage to a deadly health issue that is preventable, treatable, and controllable. The campaign was designed to bring forth justice and relief to those suffering from death, destruction and the devastation of HIV/AIDS in the Philadelphia Community.

True Gospel Tabernacle / Philadelphia Jurisdiction Young Peoples Willing Workers Department:

The Youth Department of the True Gospel Tabernacle, Church of God in Christ International, is committed to developing young people with a genuine passion for knowing Christ and living out the gospel worldwide.

The mission of the Youth Department is to actively and intentionally participate in the mission and vision of the Philadelphia Jurisdiction, COGIC Int’l. This is done by identifying and serving the spiritual, social and educational needs of youth in the church and community. Prayer, praise and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ will deliver the message of salvation, abundant life and transformation as we invite and involve all youth to participate in church services, workshops, ministry events, trips, and all possible service opportunities.

Although all of these programs together encompass a broad range of activity and age groups, all share the same goal: to encourage full participation in the life of the Church through worship, witness, service, and fellowship. Under the creative leadership and visionary plan of Elder Vance McNear, local and jurisdictional Youth Department President, the True Gospel Tabernacle Youth Department looks to build on the solid foundation that has been laid by it’s jurisdictional prelate and founder, Bishop Ernest McNear.

With the help of his wife, Missionary Tina S. McNear, the department’s Chair Lady, Elder Vance McNear, has created and implemented a plan to embrace the today’s youth, youth leadership, and parents with innovative ideas that will lead countless souls to Jesus Christ with a belief that these steps will nurture their growth in faith. From monthly activities, to community outreach events, the Philadelphia Jurisdiction YPWW provides the 21st century ‘s youth with services, rallies, workshops, and pertinent seminars to effectively teach them how to apply the Word of God in their lives.
